Through our mobile branch, Eyes On Site provides exams to residents of Senior Living facilities, Rehabilitation facilities, and private homes.

Unfortunately, Arizona is one of a handful of states in which Medicaid (AHCCCS) does not regularly cover eyeglasses for adults (a few exceptions may apply, please contact your insurance to see if you qualify).

We often encounter elderly or disabled patients who have no insurance coverage for glasses and cannot afford to buy them for themselves. It’s heartbreaking to encounter these individuals who have been living with preventable blindness for years, enduring visual impairments when something can easily be done to help them.

We want to assist as many of our patients as possible with obtaining glasses that will help keep them safer and improve their quality of life. Through our Eye to Eye campaign, we’ll donate one pair of glasses for every 2nd pair purchased from our optical to a senior citizen residing in one of our contracted care facilities (or to an individual in Malawi, Africa).
